Translucence Biosystems recently participated in the 22nd Annual Advanced Imaging Methods Workshop hosted by the Cancer Research Laboratory Molecular Imaging Center at the University of California, Berkeley, from January 21-23, 2025.
Translucence Biosystems appreciated the opportunity to connect with imaging enthusiasts and share our latest in 3D histology and AI-powered analysis during the workshop. Product Innovation and Business Development Manager, Nathaniel Guanzon, and Berkeley PhD Student, Zhongyan Gong, co-hosted a demo on the ZEISS Lightsheet Z.1. equipped with the Mesoscale Imaging System™. Zhongyan showcased samples that she cleared using the Translucence Neuronal Activity Tissue Clearing Kit.

The AIM Workshop provided an opportunity for Translucence Biosystems to engage with the imaging community and demonstrate the potential of tissue clearing for imaging large intact samples and gaining comprehensive insights that surpass the capabilities of conventional immunohistochemistry (IHC) slice methods in biological research.
